His untimely death occurred just before the final kick that secured Nigeria’s advancement to the African Cup of Nations final.Eyewitnesses recounted the somber incident, noting that Samuel fainted during the victory celebration at a sports viewing center in Numan. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, he passed away before reaching medical care.Mr. Jingi Dennis, the NYSC Coordinator in Adamawa State, confirmed the sad news, expressing his intention to gather further details.According to Samuel’s colleagues, who accompanied him to watch the match, he had expressed discomfort with penalty shootouts before collapsing suddenly.He was pronounced dead at the General Hospital in Numan.
