Nigerian skit creator Sanku Olaniyi, widely known as Mrsankucomedy, has tragically died following a car accident that also involved a friend.
The crash occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025. He was immediately taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
Sanku launched his comedy career in 2021 and gained widespread recognition in 2024 when a freestyle video of his went viral, amassing over 70,000 views. His originality and witty content quickly attracted a loyal following.
