Niger and Kwara may also see thunderstorms, while other states in the North Central region are expected to have cloudy conditions in the morning. Afternoon thunderstorms are forecast for the FCT, Plateau, Nasarawa, and Benue.

In the southern part of the country on Wednesday, rain is likely in the morning over Cross River, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom, with cloudy skies elsewhere.
