The mother of Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the nurse who administered an injection to the late singer Mohbad before his death, has vehemently defended her daughter’s innocence. Contrary to circulating rumors suggesting her daughter’s involvement in the singer’s demise, she clarified that Feyisayo is a qualified and professional nurse who has never made any work-related mistakes.
According to reports from The Nation, Mrs. Ogedengbe emphasized that her daughter is not an unqualified or auxiliary nurse, as speculated. She revealed that it had been 23 days since Feyisayo was taken into police custody, and the autopsy on the late singer has taken an unusually long time.
Mrs. Ogedengbe provided her account of the incident, explaining that Feyisayo had no prior connection with Mohbad. On the day of the singer’s death, Mohbad’s associate, known as “Spending,” had contacted Feyisayo to treat Mohbad’s hand injury. She stated that Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi’s younger brother, personal assistant, and friend “Spending” were all present during the injection procedure.
Mrs. Ogedengbe vehemently denied that her daughter’s injection could have caused Mohbad’s death, emphasizing Feyisayo’s competence and professionalism in her nursing practice. She asserted that Feyisayo had never met Mohbad before, and it was Spending who had referred the singer to her for treatment.
Appealing for her daughter’s release, Mrs. Ogedengbe urged authorities to recognize Feyisayo’s innocence and reconsider her position as the primary suspect in the case.
