Popular Nollywood actor, John Okafor, affectionately known as Mr Ibu, has made a heartfelt appeal for support and prayers as he battles a severe undisclosed illness that may ultimately necessitate leg amputation. This plea came to light following a video shared on social media, showing Mr Ibu celebrating his 63rd birthday while hospitalized in an undisclosed Lagos facility.
In the video, Mr Ibu did not specify the nature of his ailment but expressed grave concerns about the possibility of losing his leg if the treatment administered by the medical director does not prove successful. He emphasized that he has nowhere else to turn and implored his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and assistance.
His adopted daughter, Jazmine Okafor, shared the video on her Instagram account, beseeching the public for financial support, prayers, faith, and belief to help her beloved father during this challenging time.
