Popular Nigerian musician Davido, also known as David Adeleke, recently shared his motivations for endorsing Wizkid’s latest song after a friendly encounter between the two at a Lagos party.
In a bid to put an end to the perceived rivalry between them, Davido took the initiative to promote Wizkid’s new track across his social media platforms just days after their reunion.
However, this gesture faced criticism from some of Davido’s devoted fans, including @DaddyZee01, who also expressed disapproval.
In response, Davido emphasized his intention to seek peace with Wizkid, mentioning, “It’s about finding peace. I’m 31 years old.”
This reconciliation effort occurred in the wake of Wizkid’s announcement about the upcoming release of his four-track album EP, titled “Soundman Vol.2,” scheduled for Friday, December 22.
