Kidnappers demands for 30 million ransom for two sisters’ liberty in Abuja

Kidnappers are insisting on a N30 million ransom for the release of two teenage sisters who were abducted in Guita community, Chikakore, Kubwa, located in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.In an audacious act on Sunday at approximately 11:25 pm, a group of six bandits seized the 16 and 14-year-old sisters, leaving the community in shock.This incident follows a recent protest by the Chikakore community, directed at the office of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. The community expressed concerns about the deteriorating condition of the major road connecting their area, attributing it to a surge in serial kidnappings.A source revealed that the kidnappers have formally demanded a N30 million ransom from the family of the abducted girls, underscoring the distressing situation.Efforts to obtain comments from Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, have been unsuccessful at the time of this report.
