Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu expressed his condolences on the death of Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom. He also sympathized with the people of Isolo and the family of Oba Agbabiaka Saliu, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, who passed away at the age of 64 at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) after observing the Eid prayers.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, lamented the loss of the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, describing it as a significant blow to the traditional institution and Lagos State as a whole. He praised the late traditional ruler for his selfless service to the people of Isolo and Lagos State.
The Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Isolo, the family, friends, and associates of Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, highlighting the deceased monarch’s impactful contributions to the growth and development of his community.
Recognizing Oba Agbabiaka’s legacy, Governor Sanwo-Olu prayed for the repose of his soul and for strength for the royal family and the people of Isolo and Lagos State to bear the loss. He encouraged everyone touched by Oba Agbabiaka’s work to strive towards preserving his memory and contributions.
