JAMB has released the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with a staggering 1.94 million candidates participating across 118 towns and over 700 centers nationwide, as reported by Drivetvnews.
During the announcement held in Bwari, Abuja, Registrar Prof Ishaq Oloyede revealed that this year witnessed a notable increase, with 1,989,668 candidates registering for the exam, marking a 24.7% surge compared to 2023 figures.
Among the registered candidates, 1,904,189 were present and verified, while 2,899 were present but not verified, and 80,810 were absent, noted Prof Oloyede.
