The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the well-known musician Habeeb Okikiola, famously known as Portable.
Drivetvnews Report that the famous singer was arrested on Tuesday due to his alleged failure to settle a debt he secured from purchasing a G-Wagon from a car dealer in the state.
Sources indicate that Portable only made a partial payment of N13 million after acquiring the vehicle, valued at N27 million, and declined to pay the outstanding N14 million.
The car dealer purportedly escalated the issue to the police, resulting in the singer’s arrest.
When approached by Drivetvnews, Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, verified the arrest, stating, “The report is true. He was arrested today.”
