Ramota Adetu, a well-known small-sized Yoruba actress popularly known as Aunty Ramota, has fallen into a coma as of June 8th, following a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.

According to a report by blogger Tosin Silverdam on Instagram, Aunty Ramota underwent the BBL surgery to enhance her appearance at a hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos State. Unfortunately, complications arose during the surgery, which led to her falling into a coma.

The BBL surgery is a popular cosmetic procedure designed to improve the shape and size of the buttocks by transferring fat from other parts of the body. The process typically involves liposuction to remove fat from areas such as the abdomen, thighs, or flanks. This fat is then purified and injected into the buttocks to achieve a fuller and more rounded appearance.

Aunty Ramota, known for her roles in Yoruba movies and television series, opted for the surgery to enhance her physical appearance. However, the surgery did not go as planned, resulting in her current medical condition.

News of Aunty Ramota’s health has caused concern among her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, with many taking to social media to express their prayers and wishes for her recovery.

Details regarding Aunty Ramota’s condition and the specific complications she encountered during the surgery have not been disclosed. Fans are awaiting updates on her health and recovery.

This incident highlights the risks associated with cosmetic surgery, especially procedures like the Brazilian Butt Lift. Although popular, these surgeries can have serious complications if not performed by experienced and qualified surgeons in accredited medical facilities.

Aunty Ramota’s situation underscores the importance of thorough research and understanding of the potential risks of any elective surgery before making a decision.
