Hip-hop musician, Portable has responded after Afrobeats superstar Davido unfollowed him on Instagram. According to Drivetvnews, Davido unfollowed Portable following allegations that during their recent dinner in the United States, Davido gave him ‘bad advice’.

Portable claimed that Davido, who is signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and instead urged him to sign with Empire. The Zazu crooner accused Davido of attempting to ruin his chances of winning a Grammy, as the label Davido recommended might not influence the award for him.

Subsequent to his outburst, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram on Thursday. Reacting to this development, Portable stated that he doesn’t need Davido’s followership or assistance to be a successful artist or to win a Grammy.

The controversial artist claimed that Davido attempted to ruin his career and subsequently unfollowed him on social media. He insinuated that Davido unfollowed him because he was no longer beneficial to him. Speaking through his Instagram page, Portable said, “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them
