Popular Nigerian gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori has revealed that she has been receiving death threats. During an Instagram Live session, she urged her followers to support her with prayers.

Alaseyori disclosed that for the past six months, she has been facing online harassment. She warned that those who wish her harm are ultimately inviting misfortune upon themselves.

She explained, “I am not afraid of people. I believe I will not face untimely death. It has become unacceptable. You should check my DMs—I’ve seen numerous comments and curses, and I simply smile. People have been wishing me ill, but I just laugh. Anyone who wishes me death is only bringing death closer to themselves.

“If you think I deserve to die, you are also inviting death upon yourself. Do not send me messages with death threats or spread negativity about me. Even if those who wish me harm are many or even prophetic, the angel of death will pursue them. The world is cruel and there are many hidden struggles.

“Please pray for me. I need your support. Remember to pray for me when you see me on stage and even when you don’t hear from me.”
