Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has announced that he will be presenting his Range Rover to the King of Oke Osa, Waliu Oduntan.
Portable made this known through his official Instagram account, where he was seen dressed in all white, standing next to the white Range Rover.
The singer explained that the decision to gift the car to the king was in celebration of Isese Day, which falls on Friday, September 20, 2024. He noted that the vehicle was initially a gift from someone in Ikorodu, and after using it for some time, he felt it was fitting for the king to now have it.
In his own words, Portable said:
“On Friday, we are celebrating Isese, and I want to present the King of Oke Osa with a Range Rover. I was given the car in Ikorodu, and now I want to pass it on to King Waliu Oduntan. It will be recorded that Portable gave a Range Rover to the King of Oke Osa. The king loves wearing white, so I’m also giving him a white car. I received it as a gift, and now I am gifting it to someone else—not because I don’t value it, but because I’ve used it well and it brought many more opportunities for me.”
