The federal government has given the green light for the construction of an airstrip at Canaanland, the headquarters of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, in Ota, Ogun State.
Bishop David Oyedepo shared the news with his congregation during the Tehillah Night Special Edition event held at Canaanland.
He explained that the airstrip would improve transportation options for worshippers and visitors, especially during major events like Shiloh. This new facility will allow them to travel directly from the church premises without needing to first go to a commercial airport.
With this development, members will be able to land and park their aircraft directly at Canaanland.
Bishop Oyedepo also noted that the church would fully fund the project, emphasizing its focus on self-sufficiency and infrastructure development.
Although a specific construction timeline has not been announced, church leaders have committed to ensuring that the project is completed quickly while meeting all necessary aviation regulations.
