Okuneye Idris, widely known as Bobrisky, a controversial Nigerian crossdresser, is currently being held at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos State, where he spent the night in police custody.

According to Drivetvnews, Bobrisky was arrested by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) while attempting to cross into Benin Republic.

A source confirmed to Punch that Bobrisky was handed over to the FCID after being apprehended by immigration officers at the Seme border. He was reportedly trying to leave the country, and further instructions regarding his case are awaited.

The source stated, “Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, at around 10 p.m. on Monday. Immigration officials arrested him at the Seme border and transferred him here for safekeeping.”

He remains in custody at the FCID after being detained on Sunday and held overnight. He was officially transferred to the FCID at 10 p.m. on Monday.

The spokesperson for the FCID in Lagos, Mayegun Aminat, confirmed Bobrisky’s detention, saying, “He is currently in our custody, and we are working to secure a remand order to continue holding him.”
