Kunle Afolayan Mourns Loss of Mother, Omoladun Afolayan
Nigerian film producer and actor Kunle Afolayan has announced the passing of his mother, Omoladun Afolayan, at the age of 81.
In an emotional Instagram post, Kunle shared fond memories of his mother, accompanied by photos of her with her grandchildren. He wrote:
“It’s hard to accept, but she lived a good life. Our mother, Maami Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan, has gone to rest (1943-2024).”
Kunle’s brother, actor Gabriel Afolayan, also paid tribute:
“Home isn’t the same without you, Big Mummy. We’ll miss you dearly. Rest on.”
