Queen Dami, the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has announced the end of her relationship with controversial Nigerian musician Portable.
The decision followed an incident during Queen Dami’s TikTok live session, where Portable interrupted to question her online activity. He accused her of disobeying his instruction to stay off social media and implied she might be engaging in questionable behavior. Portable also asked if she identified as a housewife or something else, sparking outrage.
Frustrated by the confrontation, Dami abruptly ended the live session. Shortly afterward, she addressed the situation on Instagram, citing public humiliation as the reason for ending their relationship.
She wrote, “Alhamdulilahi, I’m done. This is too much for me. Can’t take this embarrassment again. Ire o.”
Meanwhile, in a separate development, Portable claimed he has more hit songs than Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy. In a video circulating online, the singer insisted that his statement was not a boast but a reflection of reality, emphasizing that he only speaks facts.
