Mukaila Senwele, a Lagos-based comic musician originally from Ilorin, has passed away. He was widely recognized for his catchphrase, “Koni da fun ebo to se Costay.”
A family source confirmed that Senwele, who hailed from the Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, died on Friday night.
Known for his captivating performances and unique approach to entertainment, Senwele gained a devoted following, particularly among socialites.
Speaking with ROYAL NEWS, a family member revealed that the entertainer showed no signs of illness before his sudden death.
“There was no indication that he was unwell. He spent the day interacting with his fans and even planned to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later that evening,” the source shared.
According to reports, the family received an urgent call from the location where Senwele had been with fans.
“When my elder brother (name withheld) and others arrived, they tried to rush him to the hospital, but sadly, we lost Mukaila,” the source said.
