Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has promised to change his ways after being granted bail.
The Zazu singer was released on a N2 million bail by the Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Thursday. He had pleaded not guilty to five charges, including conspiracy, assault, illegal possession of weapons, and disorderly conduct.
Portable was taken to court by the Ogun State police after being accused of attacking three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).
Following his release, he shared a video on social media, expressing gratitude and stating his determination to focus on financial success instead of trouble.
“I thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything,” he said. “I need money. I’m done with trouble. My focus is on making money now. I have a N2 million bail debt, and I need more Money.”
