Many assume my journey has been easy because I come from a stable background with family support.

However, that perception is far from the truth. I once sold sachet water, walked through Berger and Wuse markets in Abuja selling Christmas caps, and only stopped helping my mother sell leaves in 2016 after winning a singing competition. Despite these struggles, I still attended church regularly in my second-hand suits, always making an effort to look presentable.

Even while working to make ends meet, I remained dedicated to personal growth—rehearsing, practicing, reading, praying, and fasting. I refused to accept failure. I disliked my situation, so I took action through constant self-improvement and both mental and spiritual transformation.

I realized that learning doesn’t have to come solely through experience—I could grow through exploration and acquiring knowledge. I understood that the effort put into learning was much lighter than the weight of failure. Those who knew me back then can testify to my passion and relentless work ethic. I never entertained laziness or excuses.

I am sharing this to encourage young people with a vision not to feel discouraged or believe that life is unfair. My success wasn’t luck—you, too, can achieve everything God has planned for you. You have the power to make a meaningful impact.

Success comes from applying the right principles, while failure often results from ignoring them. No matter how difficult your circumstances, there is always hope.

In 2014, my bandmates and I even sold our phones to fund worship concerts. We walked through the streets, praying and declaring faith, taking control of our destiny.

If you dedicate yourself fully to your dreams, you will not be disappointed. Even now, I believe there is much more God wants me to accomplish, and I continue to set ambitious goals for myself.

To anyone reading this, it’s time to take action! God is waiting for you to step up.

And never forget—God’s grace makes all the difference. Without His grace, our efforts mean nothing.

The attached pictures are from 2016 and 2017, along with the artwork for my first single, “God is Real,” released in 2014.

My life is undeniable proof that God is real and His grace is transformative.
