A Nigerian man, Fatai Odunsi, has publicly claimed to be the father of popular singer Asake and is seeking financial assistance due to serious health challenges.

In a recently surfaced video that has gone viral, Odunsi stated that he has been battling a stroke since 2022. He alleged that despite numerous attempts to contact Asake, the singer has not responded to his calls.

“I am Asake’s father. The last time I saw him was on March 29, 2022, when I fell ill. Since then, he has not answered my calls, and I am exhausted,” Odunsi said.

Appearing beside him in the video was a man named Sonibare, who introduced himself as Odunsi’s brother. According to Sonibare, Odunsi gave his consent for the video to be shared online in the hope of receiving help.

“This is Fatai Odunsi, the father of Asake, also known as Ololade Mr. Money. He is struggling financially and in need of assistance. I have done my best to support him, but we are now reaching out to the public. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated,” Sonibare stated.

He further explained that Odunsi had specifically requested that his situation be made public as they have run out of options.

As of now, Asake has not responded to the claims, and Odunsi’s statement remains unverified.
