Authorities have taken three individuals into custody following the discovery of a young woman’s body at Milky Guest House, situated along Airport Road in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State
Drivetvnews gathered that the woman had checked into the guest house with a man who later left, claiming he was stepping out to make a purchase. However, he never returned, and the woman was not seen exiting the premises.
Hotel staff became concerned after an extended period with no sign of either guest. After receiving no response when they knocked on the door, they eventually forced it open, only to find the woman’s lifeless body on the floor. Her mouth had reportedly been covered, indicating a possible homicide.
It is believed that the man blindfolded and killed the victim before escaping. The police have yet to reveal his identity.
Delta State Police spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident on Friday, stating, “Confirmed. Three suspects in custody.”
