Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has reacted to the viral altercation between activist VeryDarkMan and comedian Mr. Jollof, saying anyone who engages in physical combat inside an aircraft should be sentenced to life imprisonment.
In a video circulating online, Portable criticised the behaviour of both men and wondered why anyone would choose to fight on a plane filled with passengers.
According to him, “Anybody who fights inside a plane, whether local or international flight, deserves life imprisonment. Billionaires board flights, and you decide to fight? You saw your enemy on land and did nothing. You waited to enter the plane before fighting?”
He went on to mock both men while reviewing the clash, claiming that despite claims that VeryDarkMan once received money to confront him, the activist still struggled in the confrontation.
Portable also joked that Mr. Jollof’s physique made the situation worse for him.
The clash reportedly happened on a United Nigeria Airlines flight travelling from Asaba to Lagos. Passengers and crew members were said to have intervened as the disagreement escalated into a mild brawl.
