Veteran Nollywood actor, Dayo Adewunmi, who was widely known as Sule Suebebe, has passed away.
The Yoruba actor died on Wednesday morning in an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The news of his death was announced by Pastor Ademola Amusan, a popular cleric based in Ibadan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, who had been looking after the actor in recent months.
Agbala Gabriel shared the news of Suebebe’s passing on his Facebook page, writing, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
Suebebe gained widespread attention last year when he reflected on his past, acknowledging that he had lived a reckless life in his younger years.
Gabriel, a young pastor renowned for his philanthropy, had also provided the veteran actor with a new home last year.
