A distressing video circulating online depicts the lifeless body of Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips. Rasheed, a member of the rapper’s team, shared the video on Instagram, capturing a moment where Rasheed and two others are seen grieving over the ‘Chache’ crooner’s body.
In the emotional video posted on Tuesday, Rasheed tearfully pleaded, “Dips, please, God, please. What is this?”
Oladips, who gained prominence after being signed by rapper Reminisce to LRR/EDGE Records, reportedly passed away on Tuesday, November 14.
Earlier reports had indicated that Oladips’ management, in a statement released on Wednesday, confirmed the young artist’s demise on Tuesday evening, with details about the funeral service to be disclosed once finalized.
The management’s statement expressed deep sadness over Oladips’ sudden passing and urged the public to respect the family’s privacy during this challenging time. It concluded with a prayer for strength to cope with the significant loss.
