President Bola Tinubu Attends G20 ‘Compact with Africa’ Conference
President Bola Tinubu arrived at the Marriot Hotel in Berlin for the G20 ‘Compact with Africa’ conference, hosted by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He was accompanied by high-ranking officials including Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar; Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite; and Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.
At the conference, President Tinubu joined other leaders to discuss ways to bolster economic and business collaboration. The agenda focused on strategies to increase investments in crucial sectors like energy, trade, infrastructure, and new technologies.
The visit reaffirms President Tinubu’s dedication to promoting foreign direct investment in Nigeria and upholding diplomatic reciprocity, following the German Chancellor’s recent visit to Abuja and Lagos in October 2023.
