Renowned Yoruba actress Bisola Badmus has revealed her struggle with a brain disease known as Encephalopathy, a condition that affects mental faculties, leading to confusion and altered behavior.

The disclosure came through a post on the actress’s Instagram page during her birthday celebration, where she shared details of her battle with the disease that has spanned over a year.

“Over the past year, I have been grappling with health challenges, specifically Encephalopathy. It’s an illness I wouldn’t wish on anyone, as it has been an arduous journey that compelled me to withdraw from social media.

“During this time, I also endured the loss of my beloved mother. Gracious God, I am grateful for everything, especially for allowing me to see yet another birthday.

“I would be remiss not to express my gratitude to my family, friends, industry colleagues, business partners, and the brands I represent for their unwavering support during this trying period. Thank you all,” Badmus conveyed.
