Social media influencer Priscilla Ojo has criticized Naira Marley, a singer, for accusing her actress mother, Iyabo Ojo, of defamation and threatening legal action.
Naira Marley initiated legal action against actress Iyabo Ojo, alleging she spread false and defamatory content on her Instagram account. His lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, outlined the accusations made in a September 2023 post, claiming that Iyabo Ojo accused Naira Marley of engaging in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer, Mohbad.
Responding via her Instagram stories, Priscilla questioned Naira Marley’s boldness to threaten her mother, emphasizing ongoing legal matters involving the singer. She expressed disbelief at the situation, pointing out Naira Marley’s unresolved issues regarding royalties and legal disputes.
Priscilla highlighted her mother’s genuine efforts in supporting various causes, including the care for DJ Splash’s hospital bills, advocating for victims of assault, and standing up against bullying before Mohbad’s demise. She criticized the allegations made against her mother, emphasizing the gravity of the situation and defending her mother’s genuine intentions.
She also highlighted her disagreement with certain judgments based on reality shows and condemned the insensitive remarks made about the grieving mother, stressing the enduring impact of Mohbad’s untimely passing. Priscilla reiterated her belief in the spirit of the deceased singer, affirming that justice will prevail in due time.
