Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, unveiled his post-office political aspiration during the 3rd Annual GYB Seminar for Nigeria’s Political & Crime Correspondents/Editors in Abuja. He expressed his intention to support President Bola Tinubu’s success in government once he leaves office.
Governor Bello, who previously vied for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket and lost, highlighted that he believes that if President Tinubu succeeds, it signifies success for all Nigerians. He also expressed confidence in the APC’s victory in the upcoming November governorship election in Kogi State.
Reflecting on his tenure as governor, Bello acknowledged his achievements and the positive transformation of Kogi State under his leadership. He expressed optimism that the APC candidate, Usman Ododo, would continue to build on the solid foundation laid for the state’s progress.
Addressing internal party concerns in Kogi State, Governor Bello emphasized that while it’s impossible to satisfy everyone, the APC possesses effective internal mechanisms for conflict resolution. He reaffirmed the party’s unity as a key factor in its consistent electoral success in the state.
