Unknown gunmen launched a deadly attack on the Alalubosa community in Okoolowo, Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State on Tuesday night. During the attack, they killed AbdulRasheed Alafara, while two of his siblings were shot and abducted along with their mother.
The attackers, numbering about six and armed with AK-47 rifles, stormed the Kwara community and began shooting indiscriminately, causing residents who were outside at the time to flee for safety.
AbdulRasheed Alafara was reportedly shot in the leg and then brutally macheted to death as he attempted to escape. Two of the deceased’s siblings, Semiat Mukaila and Abdullahi, sustained gunshot wounds and are currently receiving medical treatment
