Authorities in Adamawa State have arested a 42-year-old man accused of committing an offensive act: raping his own nine-year-old daughter. The incident occurred in Kabak, located within the jurisdiction of Mubi South Local Government Area. The arrest unfolded after the man’s wife bravely reported the distressing matter to the police. This revelation came to light through SP Suleiman Nguroje, the state’s police spokesperson, during a statement issued on Thursday in Yola. The suspect, upon interrogation, admitted to the grievous offense, citing his excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs as contributing factors to his abhorrent actions. SP Nguroje assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway to shed light on the disturbing incident and bring justice to the victim and her family.
