Nigerian socialite Bobrisky, whose real name is Okuneye Idris, was hospitalized after complaining of chest pain while in police custody. Bobrisky had been detained at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.
According to sources, Bobrisky was taken to Falomo Police Hospital via ambulance after experiencing discomfort. The hospital trip occurred around 2:00 p.m., with Bobrisky wearing a black gown and covering his face.
Bobrisky’s arrest occurred Monday night at the Seme border in Lagos by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). Authorities consider Bobrisky a person of interest, and detectives continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
The FCID seeks a remand order for Bobrisky’s continued detention. NIS spokesperson Kenneth Udo confirmed the arrest, citing border security efforts.
