A legal dispute over the estate of late former Oyo State governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala, has revealed a vast portfolio of properties spread across Nigeria and abroad.

The case, before an Oyo State High Court, was filed by his first daughter, Oluwatoyin Alao-Aderinto, who is challenging how the estate is being handled. She named Oluwakemi Alao-Akala and Olamide Alabi as defendants, describing them as executors of the estate.

She alleged that some assets had already been sold without her consent and warned that more could be disposed of unless the court intervenes. The court has since restrained any further transactions pending the outcome of the case and ordered an accelerated hearing.

Aderinto is also seeking DNA tests involving herself and six others to establish paternity, including a request for the exhumation of her father’s remains for verification. The matter has been adjourned to April 16, 2026.

The dispute has now brought into public view the extensive list of assets linked to the late governor, including:
