Carter Efe secured a convincing victory over Habeeb Badmus in a celebrity boxing bout held at the Balmoral Hall Federal Palace Hotel.
Drivetvnews gathered that the fight, which headlined the Chaos in the Ring 4 event, lasted three rounds, with all judges scoring it in favour of Efe by unanimous decision. The result ended Portable’s unbeaten streak in celebrity boxing and saw him lose his status as champion.
Before the bout, Portable had expressed confidence, citing his previous wins over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, and promising another victory. However, Efe entered the ring unfazed and delivered on his pre-fight claims.
Portable started the contest aggressively, throwing unstructured punches in an attempt to dominate early. Efe, however, remained composed, absorbing the pressure while responding with accurate counterpunches, including effective body shots and uppercuts.
As the fight progressed, Efe grew more precise and controlled, landing cleaner combinations while Portable continued to rely on wild swings and frequent clinches. The final round followed a similar pattern, with Efe maintaining his dominance until the end.
At the final bell, the judges’ scorecards confirmed Efe as the new celebrity boxing champion.
