Nollywood actor and producer Femi Adebayo has shed light on the incident where he slapped his father, Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, during a movie shoot. This event occurred in 2008 on the set of the film ‘Taiwo Taiwo,’ directed by Nollywood actress Funke Akindele.

In a recent interview with celebrity journalist Seun Olekutiyi, Femi Adebayo clarified that the slap was unintentional and not part of the film’s script. He explained that while playing a role of an aggressive thief, he inadvertently slapped his father during a scene where his character was supposed to be forceful and demanding. Despite the unplanned nature of the slap, Adebayo stated he apologized to his father immediately afterward. His father, however, reassured him that he would have been in trouble if he had not carried out the action.
