Nigerian skit maker Denilson Igwe recently disclosed that his social media accounts, including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, were hacked during the week he departed from Mark Angel Comedy. Since the hack, he has reported that these pages have not gained any new subscribers or followers. He attributed this stagnation to being advised to perform actions he does not understand.

Igwe shared these details during his recent appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast. He stated, “They hacked my YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram pages the week I left Mark Angel Comedy. Since then, despite being instructed to take certain actions that I don’t comprehend, the pages have remained stagnant. From 2019 until now, not a single follower has been added. They are just stuck in place.”

Drivetvnews notes that Igwe, who was part of the Mark Angel Comedy group alongside other comedians such as Emmanuella, left the group in 2019. He has previously claimed to be the founder of the comedy channel and accused Mark Angel of monetizing it without his consent.

In related news, Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has discussed her approach to handling criticism. In an interview with Dose Society, the ‘Bloody Samaritan’ artist revealed that she remains unaffected by negative feedback, attributing her perspective to the broader personal struggles that many people face. She pointed out that most critics are dealing with their own issues, such as financial problems and exhaustion, and thus emphasized the importance of not being preoccupied with others’ opinions.
