Nigerian hip hop artist, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, made a striking appearance at the prestigious 2023 British Fashion Awards held at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday.
The ‘Zazu’ singer was seen alongside British-Nigerian Grime rapper Skepta at the grand event. Portable confidently walked the runway alongside Skepta and other members of his BBK crew, adding flair to the occasion.
Among the star-studded attendees were Hollywood luminaries Anne Hathaway and Gwyneth Paltrow. The event saw several notable winners, including Jonathan Anderson, honored as Designer of the Year, Sarah Burton receiving the Special Recognition Award, and Martine Rose crowned as British Menswear Designer of the Year. Singer Sam Smith was recognized with the Cultural Innovator Award, while British-Ghanaian actress and writer Michaela Coel earned the prestigious Pandora Leader of Change accolade.
