Renowned Fuji musician Saheed Osupa has expressed deep appreciation to Burna Boy after the Afrobeats superstar publicly referred to him as his “Greatest of All Time” (GOAT) singer.

Burna Boy, in a recent interview, praised Osupa’s artistry and acknowledged the major influence of Fuji music on his own sound.

Reacting on Instagram, Osupa described the recognition as a landmark moment that honors the spirit of Fuji music and its enduring global influence. He commended Burna Boy as a true icon of Afropop and thanked him for the sincere admiration.

Osupa wrote that Burna Boy’s tribute “not only elevates my personal journey but also showcases the richness of our cultural heritage, connecting generations and genres around the world.” He said he was “profoundly grateful for this powerful acknowledgment from a true Afropop titan – the African Giant himself – of whom I am also a great fan.”

According to Osupa, both artists are “redefining the legacy of African music and inspiring the world with authentic, vibrant sounds.” He also extended appreciation to Burna Boy’s fans and other music lovers for embracing Fuji and celebrating Africa’s creative excellence.

Looking ahead, Osupa revealed his plans to attend one of Burna Boy’s upcoming concerts to show his support and return the gesture of respect. “Keep prospering, my beloved Burna. The journey continues, stronger and more radiant than ever!” he added.
