  1. Dr. Josef Onoh, President Bola Tinubu’s spokesperson in the South East, criticized critics claiming that the President’s certificate released by Chicago State University (CSU) belongs to a female. Onoh emphasized that these claims are based on ignorance of the Federal law, specifically the Family Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA), which allows Tinubu to request corrections to his education records if he finds inaccuracies.

He argued that the error in the certificate is a simple matter of correction, dismissing it as insignificant. Onoh accused Tinubu’s critics, especially the defeated presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, of trying to distract the President from his agenda for the country and causing embarrassment to Nigeria. He urged Atiku and Obi to abandon their political agendas and support Tinubu in moving the nation forward.

Onoh emphasized that Tinubu’s university records clearly identify him as a man, and the claims about the certificate being fake are futile attempts by the opposition to discredit the President. He mocked these attempts, comparing them to searching for restaurant bills to prove their point. He warned Atiku and his legal team about the implications of their pursuits, emphasizing that their efforts are in vain. Onoh concluded by urging everyone to work together with President Tinubu to build a united and prosperous nation.
