“Nollywood star Moyo Lawal disclosed her decision to forego birthday celebrations this year, marking the first time she abstained from festivities since reaching adulthood.Despite entering a new age recently, the actress chose to maintain silence on social media regarding her birthday. Nonetheless, she received warm wishes from colleagues such as Mary Njoku and Uche Ogbodo.Explaining her choice, Moyo Lawal expressed that she opted to follow what she would have done had she not been in the entertainment industry – abstaining from any photo shoots or public announcements. In a statement, she shared, ‘This year, I refrained from the usual photoshoots or announcements, marking the first time in my adult life. I acted just as I would have if I weren’t involved in showbiz. It’s a year of stepping into uncharted territories for me, overcoming significant obstacles, as they say, the first step being the most challenging.'”
