Despite missing out on a Grammy award nomination, Nigerian singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, remains determined not to give up. According to reports from Drivetvnews, Davido and other Nigerian nominees were snubbed at the 66th Grammys, with Tyla, the sole non-Nigerian nominee in the inaugural Best African Music Performance category, securing the award. Additionally, Davido lost in the Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance categories. His fans expressed frustration over his Grammy loss, with some accusing the organizers of bias. Nevertheless, Davido took to his social media handle, X, to reassure his supporters, expressing his love for them and promising to persevere. In his message, he emphasized, “I just want you to feel alright. I love each and every one of you! We’re still in the game! We will continue to deliver.”
