Kanayo O. Kanayo, a veteran in Nollywood as both actor and producer, has publicly accused teenage actress Angel Unigwe and her mother of breaching a contractual agreement with his production company.

According to Kanayo, the issue arose when Angel’s mother prematurely withdrew her from a filming commitment, despite the contract specifying a different timeline. He expressed frustration over what he described as the mother’s tendency to alter terms after receiving payment. Kanayo emphasized that this behavior has affected other producers as well.

In a video posted on Instagram, Kanayo urged fellow filmmakers to refrain from working with Angel Unigwe, warning that he would intervene to prevent any shoots involving her. He cited the disruption such actions cause on film sets and stressed the importance of professionalism in the industry.

As of now, neither Angel Unigwe nor her mother has responded to these allegations.
