Controversial Nigerian musician, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has extended his congratulations to his colleague, Davido, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, on their wedding day. According to a report from Drivetvnews, today marks the traditional wedding ceremony of Davido and Chioma, his longtime partner, taking place at an exclusive venue in Lagos.

Portable, amidst ongoing social media disagreements with Davido, joined numerous other celebrities and well-wishers in celebrating the couple, offering prayers for God’s blessings upon them. He shared a video of Davido and Chioma’s pre-wedding shoot on his Instagram account, captioning it: “Ori Ade, God bless your family @davido.”

The rift between Portable and Davido emerged after Portable accused Davido of giving him misleading advice during a recent dinner in the United States. This disagreement reportedly led Davido to unfollow Portable on Instagram. Portable later expressed feeling abandoned by Davido after allegedly being used for publicity.

During an Instagram Live session, Portable revealed that Davido had advised him against signing with Sony Music, where Davido himself is signed, suggesting Empire instead. Portable, aspiring for a Grammy like Davido, expressed skepticism about joining a label that might not support his aspirations for the prestigious award.

Portable emphasized his preference for genuine helpers, citing examples like Olamide and Skepta, who he claimed had directly supported him in his career, including connecting him with prominent fashion brands.
