Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has urged the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to investigate claims from members of the Lord Chosen Church, questioning their authenticity. He has suggested that he might pursue legal action against the church for allegedly misleading Christians with false testimonies.
Otse’s concerns were fueled by a recent video featuring a woman who claimed to have been attacked by four robbers but managed to seize their firearm, initially misidentifying it as an “AK 27” before being corrected by the pastor to “AK 47.” Another video showed a man asserting that he was shot at, but the bullet did not penetrate, and a cutlass bounced off his head, which further fueled Otse’s skepticism.
On Sunday, Otse shared a video on Instagram accusing the man of dishonesty and sarcastically questioned if church members have “spiritual iron” in their heads. His critique of these claims has prompted him to notify CAN of his intention to take action.
He captioned the video:
“CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA, be prepared for me. This nonsense needs to end. Are they now saying they have spiritual iron in their heads? All these Chosen members.”
