Nigerian TikToker Ojesanmi Afeez, known online as Salo, was reportedly shot in the Lekki area of Lagos State. Reports indicate that Salo sustained a gunshot wound to his leg during a robbery at a filling station, where his gold chain was stolen.

A witness, who spoke anonymously to *Punch*, mentioned that Salo is currently receiving critical care at Perez Medcare Hospital in Lekki Phase 2. The witness stated, “When I arrived at the hospital, they didn’t let me in, but a nurse told us to keep praying for him because his condition is serious.”

The witness added, “We don’t know if he had any conflicts with anyone, and he might not know either. It’s hard to be more cautious than those who might be watching you. I just hope he takes care if he recovers.”

The incident was confirmed by Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, who said, “Salo was indeed shot yesterday at Admiralty Way, Lekki. We have launched an investigation into the matter and will share updates as they become available.”

Before this incident, there was a disagreement between Salo and fellow TikToker Tobi Nation over the purchase of a new home. Salo claimed he helped connect Tobi Nation to the agent who sold him the Lekki property, but Tobi Nation denied using the payment method Salo suggested.

Reacting to the news of the attack, Tobi Nation expressed his sadness, noting that he went to visit Salo at the hospital but wasn’t allowed to see him.
