Popular Nigerian entertainer and entrepreneur Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, widely known as Officer Woos, has dismissed reports claiming he was arrested over alleged drug trafficking activities.
The allegations, which began circulating online on Thursday, alleged that authorities intercepted a shipment of bread and brownies supposedly containing cocaine and linked the products to the comedian-turned-businessman.
Responding to the claims on Saturday through his legal representatives, Versed Attorneys, Officer Woos described the reports as entirely false and defamatory. His legal team stated that the allegations were designed to damage his personal reputation, business interests, and professional image.
The lawyers called for an immediate and unconditional withdrawal of the reports by all individuals, blogs, and social media platforms responsible for publishing or sharing the claims.
They also demanded a public apology to be issued on the same platforms where the allegations were circulated, giving those involved 48 hours to comply.
The statement further warned that legal action would be pursued against anyone who continues to spread the unverified claims.
As of the time of reporting, neither the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) nor the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) had released an official statement confirming or denying the alleged arrest.
Officer Woos reportedly stepped away from full-time content creation in 2025 to focus on his bread production business.
