A case of Lassa fever has resulted in one death in Oyo State, as authorities confirm a total of five infections across affected communities.
The state government disclosed that immediate containment measures were put in place to prevent further spread of the disease. Speaking in Ibadan, the Commissioner for Health, Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, said the response followed established national and international health protocols.
