Nigerian entertainers Habeeb Badmus, popularly known as Portable, and Carter Efe have intensified their rivalry with fresh verbal attacks ahead of their celebrity boxing match at the Chaos in the Ring 4.
The bout is scheduled to take place on May 1 at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, where several fighters are expected to compete.
Portable, who has previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington in exhibition matches, expressed confidence about securing another victory. He boasted that his past wins prove he has what it takes to defeat Carter Efe and claim a third belt.
Carter Efe, however, dismissed Portable’s claims, insisting the fight would be short-lived. He confidently stated that he would knock out his opponent quickly once they meet in the ring.
The main event of the night will feature a bout between Ezra Arenyeka and Godday Appah, described as a symbolic “peace fight” representing communities in the Niger Delta. Despite the theme, both fighters exchanged intense words, each promising victory.
Other matches on the fight card include appearances by international fighters such as Elvis Ahorgah and Joe Laws, as well as Michael McKinson, who is set to face Mohammad Sahnoun.
According to the organisers, the event is designed to combine entertainment with professional boxing while giving fighters broader exposure. The matches will be broadcast globally, attracting attention from both local and international audiences.
With tensions rising among participants, fans are anticipating an action-packed event as fighters prepare to settle their rivalries inside the ring.
