Controversial singer Portable has challenged fellow artistes Davido and Zlatan Ibile to celebrity boxing matches following his recent loss in the ring.
Portable suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Carter Efe at a boxing event held in Lagos, bringing an end to his unbeaten run in celebrity fights. Reacting shortly after, the singer expressed interest in new bouts, stating that he wants financially rewarding matches to recover from his loss and regain momentum.
During a live session on social media, Portable openly called out Davido and Zlatan, saying he is ready to face either of them in the ring. His comments came amid online reactions to his defeat, including mockery from Zlatan, who publicly praised Carter Efe’s victory.
Beyond issuing new challenges, Portable also demanded that some celebrities fulfil promises allegedly made to him before the fight. He mentioned KCee and his brother E-Money, as well as Timaya, claiming they had pledged support or gifts.
The singer further alleged that the match was unfair, insisting it was manipulated to avoid large betting payouts. According to him, significant sums had been staked on his victory, which he believes influenced the outcome.
Despite the controversy, Portable found a positive moment in the birth of his child on the same day as the fight, describing it as more meaningful than the loss.
The bout ended with all judges scoring in favour of Carter Efe, marking Portable’s first defeat after previous wins against other entertainers in the celebrity boxing scene.
